+ WORKSHOP FORMAT

Having looked at your Spotlight CV and Showreel, Jemima McWilliams will send out a selection of scenes before the workshop. Please choose a scene that suits you best regardless of gender, age and ethnicity. Jemima would like you to be as familiar with the text as possible.

Following an introduction, participants will film their tape with Jemima under audition conditions (with the whole group present). We have superb equipment for the best learning experience. Jemima will give each participant notes allowing them the chance to do a second take. This will be followed by a short tea break and an informal Q&A.

Your scenes will be recorded with broadcast quality equipment. Upon request, you have the option to receive your footage after the session for no extra cost!

{This workshop adheres to CDG guidelines and isn’t an audition}.

JEMIMA'S BIO

Growing up with a father in Locations and an aunt in Casting I always knew I wanted to end up working somewhere in films. I started my career at Curtis Brown, the Talent Agency. Meeting Actors, Directors and Casting Directors, attending the theatre frequently and reading countless scripts gave me a brilliant introduction to the industry. I decided to make the move to Casting in 2015 and I’m really enjoying it. Working with a variety of Directors and discovering new talent are just a couple of the joys of the job for me.
